To us, the protection of the Users' personal data is of utmost importance. Thus, this Privacy Policy supplements the general Terms of Use of the footballrs.net Platform.


1. Basic Principles for the Processing of the User's Personal Data

The Platform collects, processes, and uses the personal data in compliance with the data protection laws of the Federal Republic of Germany and the data protection directives of the European Union.

The Platform uses the personal data exclusively for the purpose of enabling the use of the services offered.

If necessary in individual cases, the Platform may forward personal data of a registered member to third parties, if notification is received that uploaded content of a registered member breaches these third parties' commercial property rights (copyrights, trademark rights, or other neighboring rights, as well as other intangible rights).

Personal data are not forwarded to third parties for any other purposes, particularly advertising or marketing purposes, without the express consent of the User.


2. Registration

For the User's registration with the platform, certain personal data need to be collected from the User during the registration and be processed as registration details.


3. Profile Data

The Platform enables the User to present himself and to upload further data in the profile for this purpose.


4. Cookies

We use cookies. Cookies are little data records that are generated when Web pages are accessed and that are stored on the computer of the respective User. With the help of cookies, the Web server can query user-specific information that are used to make the use of the Web site easier and more comfortable for the User and to enable certain functions in the first place.

When the User accesses the Platform, the access data are stored on the server. The Platform uses the logs for statistical analyses in anonymized form, i.e. without any association or indications concerning the User.


6. Statistics Tools

Moreover, statistics tools are used to record the Web site traffic and the following technical information, which is automatically transmitted by your browser, in addition to the data listed above: Availability JavaScript, Java, Flash, screen resolution, browser version, operating system, time on site, returning visitors, geographic origin, and Internet address (IP address).

The data collected in this way is not mapped to any individual Users. These data are not consolidated with other data sources. The stored data are analyzed for statistical purposes only.

Proceed as follows if you want to prevent anonymized user profiles from being created within the scope of a Web analysis: Firstly, you can prevent the installation of cookies by means of a simple procedure in your browser (see section 4. Cookies).

7. Integration of Facebook "Like" Buttons

Our pages contain plugins of the social network Facebook, 1601 South California Avenue, Palo Alto, CA 94304, USA. You can recognize the Facebook plugins from the Facebook logo or the "Like" button on our page. An overview of the Facebook plugins is available here: http://developers.facebook.com/docs/plugins/

When you visit our pages, the plugin establishes a direct connection between your browser and the Facebook server. In this way, Facebook is informed that you have visited our site from your IP address. If you click the Facebook "Like" button while you are logged in to your Facebook account, you can reference the contents of our pages in your Facebook profile. In this way, Facebook can map the visit to our pages to your user account. Please note that as a site provider, we are not informed about the content of the transmitted data and their use by Facebook. If you do not wish Facebook to be able to map the visit to our pages to your Facebook user account, please log out from your Facebook user account.


8. Publication of Contents in Facebook

Our service enables you to connect your user account to Facebook. In this way, subject to your approval, your submissions can also be published in Facebook under the user name you use there.

For this purpose, your personal data that have been released at Facebook (e.g. e-mail address, nickname, list of friends) are transmitted to us via an encrypted interface (API). The access to the data does not take place arbitrarily, but is governed by the permissions defined by you or originally set by Facebook. We can access your data for as long as our application has a valid access token. In Facebook, you can also control individual accesses via the API and revoke our access authorization at application level. We will treat all collected information in accordance with the applicable European and German data protection provisions and our Privacy Policy.

To connect your Facebook profile to the service, we will first redirect you to Facebook, where you will be requested to make a declaration to that effect. Further information, e.g. on the configuration options to protect your privacy, is available from Facebook.

As we cannot influence the data security during the transmission of personal information from third-party providers to us, we recommend activating the "Secure Browsing" (HTTPS) option in Facebook.


9. Right to Information

You may at any time request information about the data stored about you, their origin and recipients, and the purpose of the data processing.


10. Rights of Revocation

You may at any time revoke the permission to process and use the data with effect for the future. To do this, please send a brief e-mail, specifying your address and e-mail address, to datenschutz@footballrs.net. In this case, we will fully delete your data without delay, except for justified exceptions in cases of abuse.


11. Amendments to the Privacy Policy

Users will be informed by e-mail about any amendments to the Privacy Policy. This Privacy Policy can be printed or stored at any time.
